Lindsey Pehkonen has 16 years of teaching experience specializing in grades K-9. Currently serving as a junior high interventionist and learning leader, she is passionate about language and literacy development. Over the past five years, Lindsey has focused on enhancing her knowledge and skills to effectively support students and colleagues. She aims to increase educator capacity so that all students receive the instruction they need to thrive. Lindsey is currently studying Structured Literacy and Reading Science at the University of Alberta. As an advocate for educational equity, she is committed to fostering inclusive learning environments where every student can succeed.
