After having received his music education degree from the University of Regina and studying music performance at the Hochschule fuer Musik FRANZ LISZT in Germany; Nathan Gingrich began teaching with the Calgary Board of Education in 2006.

Since residing in Calgary, Nathan has performed with all of the professional brass ensembles, jazz bands and numerous pop/soul bands in town as well as various project groups!
He is the co-ordinator of the annual "Holiday Tubafest" and "Slide Into Spring: Calgary's Trombone Day to celebrate International Trombone Week" community music events. Involved with many musical organizations, Nathan strives to connect people and music and is proud to be a director with Westwinds Music Society, on the board of the Calgary Association for the Development of Music Education (CADME) and be involved with music in the wider community through performance and education.

Nathan is a Conn-Selmer artist and clinician.
