Andy Psarianos
Andy Psarianos started Maths — No Problem! after his daughters’ struggles with math made it clear that current teaching methods were leaving children behind. Determined to make a change, he researched effective approaches to math education from around the world. What he found was that a math classroom where every child can succeed wasn’t just possible, it was inevitable when given the right teaching and the right tools. Gathering the best global knowledge and research on the subject, he founded MNP so that this new approach could be shared with a broader audience. MNP has since won the Publisher of the Year and Educational Publisher of the Year awards, two years running. The MNP Primary Series was selected by England’s Department of Education to pilot this new teaching approach in the UK, and was subsequently the only textbook series chosen for math mastery government funding. Since starting this movement, MNP has trained thousands of teachers in the UK and around the world as it continues to expand the reach of math mastery. Recently, Andy and his family moved back to Canada to share the MNP approach with teachers across the country.
