Russ Baker is from Prince George, BC originally. His family is Lheidli Tenneh(Klet’Leh Tenn eh) (Carrier)Woodland and Plains Nehiyaw(Cree), Irish/Norwegian. He has worked in Indigenous communities on and off reserve. With youth and families for over 24years. Russ has an education background in Indigenous Child and Youth Care Counselling from Douglas College. Along with other healing practices. Connecting participants back to land, Ceremony and Culture, games and Indigenous Mental Health Services/trainings being key components.
