I am a passionate educator wth 30+ years of teaching experience and 27 years of being a principal, mentor and school administrator. As a life-long learner, I'm always adding to my "toolbox", and as the manager of the Calgary Region Learning Disabilities & ADHD Network, I can leverage my depth of experience and knowledge to support students, teachers and parents. I can help you help them.

My Bachelor of Education Degree, with a specialization in Learning Disabilities, is from the University of Calgary.  That's been added to over the years by more training, numerous other certifications as well as my Leadership Certification from Alberta Education. But apart from formal training and regular PD, it's experience with students that counts. Some of my students have been more eager or supported than others, and represent a wide range of abilities, cultures, circumstances, and language proficiencies. Yet, they all have dreams and talents, differences and challenges.  Therefore, I believe one of the most powerful things teachers can do for their students is to help them understand themselves so they can navigate their worlds to live successful and enjoyable lives.

The Learning Disabilities & ADHD Network's focus is specifically to support those who live, love and work with students, families and adults living with Learning Disabilities or ADHD. Visit our booth for an overview of LD and ADHD, and why our website is great resource you can come to back to again and again. Or, contact me through our webform for free resource navigation.
