Lisa currently serves as the K-12 Social Studies Specialist for the Calgary Board of Education where she is passionate about uplifting the skills of Social Studies and creating learning experiences that foster active community engagement. With broad teaching experience across various grade levels and having recently completed her term as Alberta’s representative on the Library of Parliament’s Teachers' Advisory Committee, Lisa is dedicated to empowering educators and students to use Social Studies as a tool for helping us live together well in the world.
