Kathleen Symons is a Vice Principal in Calgary, Alberta. She completed her Masters of Education at the University of Lethbridge and her thesis research focused on boys' lived experiences of masculinity. She is currently completing her Doctor of Education at the University of Western Ontario, focusing on Equity, Diversity, and Social Justice. Her research interests include gender studies, diversity, equity, and inclusion, curriculum, instruction, and assessment, educational leadership, student well-being, staff well-being, and equity of access.
