Amanda is the Program Coordinator at the City of Calgary Animal Services Centre responsible for the Wise Whiskers Pet Safety program. With a Permanent Professional Certificate in Alberta and 12 years of teaching math and science, Amanda brings her extensive classroom experience to our education program. Amanda also has a strong foundation in animal care, with over 10 years working in shelters, veterinary clinics and at the University of Calgary. She has a hairless cat named Sephora and two chihuahuas, Miata and Mini Coop.
