We already know a lot about how brains learn, and brains learn best through PLAY! Come prepared to play our best Box Cars games that incorporate the use of hands-on materials including literacy dice, word decks, letter tiles and dollar store finds! Games and strategies are easy to differentiate and reach all learners in regular, resource and ELL programs. Games will work on vocabulary building, rhyme and word patters, work with vowels and blends, spelling simple CVC words, blends, vowels and more. The games and activities will fit into centers or whole group instruction, and can be adapted for intervention and assessment. Handout will contain games to be used first thing Monday morning, COME PREPARED TO PLAY!
