This half day session includes an engaging presentation followed by a live question and answer session and covers the following: education around the different types of psychological needs (ie. autonomy, power and control, connection, mastery, etc.) and how they differ from basic physical needs; how to identify which psychological needs are unmet; how to support meeting a child’s psychological needs in the classroom; universal strategies in the classroom that will help meet psychological needs; and a review of a variety of case studies.
