Quickdraw Animation Society is a non-profit artist run centre dedicated to all things animated. For 40 years Quickdraw has provided independent animators with studio space, professional equipment, educational opportunities, and the largest independent animation festival in Western Canada, GIRAF. Since 2014, Quickdraw has gone into schools via the Portable Animation Workshop (PAW) program, which brings professional stop motion set ups to teach students the fundamentals of animation in their class
