Jenny Repond Peters

Jenny Repond Peters is the founder and Artistic Director of Bach Tots. She is an arts educator, programmer, producer and Theatre-for-Young-Audiences director. In her 20+ years in arts education, Jenny has most recently managed Education at Arts Commons, and previously worked with hundreds of teachers and students with Trickster and Evergreen Theatre. She has a Bachelor of Arts Honours from Queen's University and an Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Calgary. She currently works as project manager within the e-learning industry, and is launching a new online education hub, Bach Tots Academy, curating and designing digital arts education resources for pre-school, Kindergarten and Grade 1 teachers.

Bach Tots Performing Arts specializes in arts for the earliest years (0-6). Bach Tots’ work has been performed locally with the Calgary International Children’s Festival, the YMCA, and have hosted  workshops for pre-school and kindergarten students at Edelweiss Preparatory and Renfrew Educational Services (to name a few). Bach Tots has also performed nationally and internationally – as far reaching as Bahrain, Manama. Bach Tots Academy is a curated online hub, resource centre and community designed to help educators and anyone who cares for young children with easy-to-implement foundational practice of simple creative movement and dance principles. www.bachtots.org/academy
