George T. Taylor, IV is the Director of Member Services & Programs for the Supreme Council 33° Scottish Rite, NMJ. In this role, he oversees the member experience, education, and leadership development initiatives for the 15 states and 97 Valleys that comprise the jurisdiction. Joining the team in 2017, George’s primary focus was developing the “Value Add” for members through a 1^st Year experience program and providing the support resources necessary for Valley membership growth. His goal is to provide operational efficiencies within the organization; allowing more time to focus on the most important part of our Fraternity, OUR MEMBERS. 

Bro. Taylor is a fourth generation Master Mason, raised in St. John’s Lodge #2, New Castle, Delaware and a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Wilmington in Wilmington, DE. He is a Senior DeMolay from Delaware, a past Jurisdictional Officer, received his Chevalier Degree, PMC-MSA, and Blue Honor Key during his time as an active member. He is a Deputy Member of the DeMolay Supreme Council and a Legion of Honor recipient.

Previously, George was the Associate Director of Alumni Involvement at his collegiate fraternity, Lambda Chi Alpha, in Indianapolis, IN. While there he oversaw the growth of alumni involvement and engagement as well as developed programming for the organization’s more than 200,000 alumni. He also oversaw the recruitment and training of 1,400 alumni advisors and volunteers working at nearly 200 chapters across North America. 

Bro. Taylor spent several years in the financial services sector working for ING Direct’s Sales, Marketing, and IT departments, most recently focusing on operational efficiencies on the mergers and acquisition team, and with Capital One, serving as a project manager during the merger of ING Direct and Capital One.

George is very active with his alma mater, High Point University in North Carolina, serving on the Alumni Association Board of Directors and the Careers & Internships Committee.
