Born in Pocatello, Idaho and raised on the family ranch 20 miles North of Mackay near the base of Mt. Borah.  Attended Mackay Elementary and High School, Idaho State University and the University of Idaho.  Received an RF Technician’s Certificate from Idaho State University Vocational Technical College, and a Bachelors of Science in Productions Management and a Bachelors of Technology in Industrial Electronics from the University of Idaho.  He works at the Idaho National Laboratory as a Wireless Engineer and Spectrum Manager.

He lives in Arco, Idaho with his wife KayLynn and they have 5 children that kept them busy growing up in Scouts, Job’s Daughters International, DeMolay, sports, and church youth group activities.  He became a Master Mason in 1982 and has been active in Masonry since.  He has been Associate Guardian of 2 different Bethels, Dad Advisor for CFK DeMolay Chapter, and was Associate Grand Guardian for Idaho Job’s Daughters in 2016-2017.  His hobbies are music, playing the fiddle, camping, mountain man rendezvous, and giving an occasional message at the Arco Community Church.
