Michael C. Russell, CAE is the Vice President of Charities & Director of Development of Scottish Rite, NMJ since July 1, 2017. Brother Russell previously served as the Executive Director of DeMolay International and has served as a non-profit professional for more than 10 years. 

As the Director of Development, Brother Russell manages the day-to-day operations of the Scottish Rite Development team by growing funding and providing leadership to the Scottish Rite Grand Almoner's Fund, the Children's Dyslexia Centers, Leon M. Abbott scholarships, and the Scottish Rite Masonic Museum & Library. 

Brother Russell received a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication from Northwest Missouri State University. He earned a Master's in Business Administration from the Jack Welch Management Institute, Strayer University. He attained the prestigious non-profit designation Certified Association Executive (CAE) in 2015, through the American Society of Association Executives. 

Brother Russell was raised as Master Mason in Calvin W. Prather Lodge No.717, Indianapolis, IN, in 2010. He is a Deputy member of the DeMolay International Supreme Council, a noble from Ararat Temple, a member of the Royal Order of Scotland, and a 32° Mason from the Valley of Indianapolis Scottish Rite, NMJ.  

Michael Russell is a proud husband and father. Michael, Megan and Maeve reside in Derry, New Hampshire.
