
Anna Stagner, MD is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School and is one of few physicians in the country who is formally trained and board certified in both ophthalmology, anatomic pathology and dermatopathology. With combined subspecialty training in ophthalmic pathology, she provides expertise in the diagnosis of neoplasms and inflammatory conditions of the skin, eye and ocular adnexa. She has studied the pathogenic mechanisms, molecular underpinnings and histopathologic subclassification of intra- and periocular neoplasms including medulloepithelioma, sebaceous carcinoma, and uveal and conjunctival melanocytic tumors as well as unusual infectious of the ocular adnexa, and orbital inflammatory diseases, among others.
