
Vishaal Bhambhwani
Dr Vishaal Bhambhwani MBBS, MS, DNB, FPOS, is an Ophthalmologist with special interest in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, Cataract, and Medical Retina.
He has trained at renowned centres in Mumbai, Delhi, Auckland, and Toronto. He has completed two fellowships in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, at the University of Auckland and at The Hospital for Sick Children / University of Toronto.
Presently, he is an Assistant Professor and Staff Ophthalmologist at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) and Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, Thunder Bay, Ontario. He runs a busy clinical practice in Thunder Bay and is also involved in research, teaching, and administration at NOSM. He has received research grants from the Northern Ontario Academic Medicine Association (NOAMA) for Ophthalmology research at Thunder Bay.
