At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the clinical management of post injection infectious endophthalmitis and integrate evidence-based best practices for risk mitigation.
  • Describe different strategies for the management of vitreous floaters and identify the structural and functional differences in outcomes with each treatment strategy.
  • Describe the risk of ocular hypertension and glaucoma in patient receiving ongoing intravitreal injection therapy and integrate prophylactic strategies for at-risk patients.
