Dr. Mather is associate professor of ophthalmology at the Ivey Eye Institute, Western University in London, Ontario. Her subspecialty practice is in Cornea and External Disease. She enjoys seeing patients with a variety of conditions including infectious and inflammatory conditions of the cornea, uveitis, ocular surface neoplasms and immune conditions affecting the ocular surface. She has initiated and runs special clinics for patients with Dry Eye Disease and Mucous Membrane Pemphigoid. Dr. Mather performs cataract surgery, cornea transplants and ocular surface surgeries. Dr. Mather also spends time teaching residents and medical students and is involved in research and administrative activities in the Department of Ophthalmology.

She completed her residency in ophthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania and her Fellowship in Cornea & External Disease at the Proctor Foundation in San Francisco, California. Dr. Mather returned home to Ontario when she joined the Ivey Eye Institute in 2003.
