Peter Dolman is a clinical professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada and is on active staff at five hospitals.  He is the UBC division head and fellowship director of oculoplastics and orbit, and a past president of the BC Society of Eye Physicians and the Canadian Society of Oculoplastics and Reconstructive Surgeons. He is a past-president of the International Thyroid Eye Disease Society and a member of the Orbit Society.  

He has supervised over 75 international oculoplastics fellows, has delivered over 350 invited lectures, and published 30 chapters and over 140 journal articles. He recently co-edited a textbook entitled “Diseases and Disorders of the Orbit and Ocular Adnexa”. 

He has volunteered as a surgeon or lecturer in over 40 nations and has received several departmental research and teaching awards, the American Society of Oculoplastics and Reconstructive Surgery research award, the Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology Merit Award, and the Queen Elizabeth Gold Medal for community service.
