During the workshop, participants will work to expand their knowledge around the interpretation of retinal OCT testing in daily clinical practice, while also exploring diagnosis and differentiation ofchoroidal lesions, and between ARMD and masquerading conditions.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
  • Differentiate between age-related macular degeneration & masquerading conditions
  • Diagnose and differentiate choroidal lesions
  • Integrate the interpretation of retinal OCT testing into daily clinical practice

Earn Section 3 Credits:Complete all three components; the pre-test, participation in the session, and the post-test to be eligible for Section 3: Self-Assessment Credits.

To participate in this Section 3 – Self-Assessment Program there are four components to complete:

1) Complete the pre-test: https://ca.surveygizmo.com/s3/50048016/20-20-OCT-Program-Pre-and-Post-Test-Gateway Based on your knowledge assessment, create a focus area or question (potentially identifying a gap or area for improvement) to bring to the workshop onsite at the 2019 COS Annual Meeting. This will help focus your learning experience.

2) Attend the workshop at the 2019 COS Annual Meeting in Québec City on Sunday, June 16 from 1:30 – 3:00 PM at the Québec City Convention Centre in Room 204 AB.

3) A post-test will be sent to you by email after the session. Complete the post-test and you will receive your results and the expert answer key with references to assist you in pursuing further learning by email.

4) Complete the program evaluation and download your Certificate of Attendance.

The workshop on its own, is accredited as a Section 1 activity. In this regard, should you not be able to complete all components of the program, but attend the workshop, you may still claim Section 1 credits.

NB: The 20/20 OCT program was accredited as a Section 3: Self-Assessment Program in 2018 for a 3-year cycle. Delegates who claimed Section 3 credits for their participation last year (2018) are not eligible for Section 3 credits again in 2019. You may still claim Section 1 credits for your attendance.
