LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Explain updates on trends in nursing leadership, surgical cataract complications, diabetic retinopathy, patient pre-op care
- Integrate the knowledge and skills gained from the sharing of the new and upcoming practices within the surgical and clinical settings into their practice
- Demonstrate knowledge on patient advocacy in the vision rehabilitation and CNIB settings and how nurses can become advocates for this patient population
