Professeur agrégé Alan A McNab, DMedSc FRANZCO FRCOphth
Alan McNab a suivi sa formation en ophtalmologie à Melbourne (Australie) de 1984 à 1986, suivie de deux ans de stage de recherche au Moorfields Eye Hospital de Londres en chirurgie orbitaire, lacrymale et oculoplastique. Il a été rédacteur en chef de l’Australian and New Zealand Journal of Ophthalmology (maintenant Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology) (1991 à 1995), en plus de siéger au comité rédactionnel d’Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (depuis 2003) et d’Orbit (de 1999 à 2019). Il est l’auteur de plus de 200 articles, de nombreux articles de synthèse et de chapitres de livres, ainsi que l’auteur unique d’un manuel en deux éditions. Il a été chef de l’Orbital Plastic and Lacrimal Clinic du Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital à Melbourne de 1999 à 2020. Il a été invité à prononcer la conférence Doyne au Congrès d’ophtalmologie d’Oxford en 2017, et il fut le conférencier du conseil RANZCO en 2004.
