Dr. Derzko-Dzulynsky actively participates in resident clinical and surgical teaching in the DOVS. Dr. Derzko-Dzulynsky participated on an Ontario Task Force for Uveitis Care that established standardized criteria for immunomodulatory treatment for uveitis (MOHTLC Exceptional Access Program) and developed a standardized communication tool for use between ophthalmologists and rheumatologists. This tool will be used for a new Uveitis Registry in Ontario, which Dr. Derzko-Dzulynsky will be launching with the Task Force for Uveitis Care. She was President of the Canadian Uveitis Society from 2010-2013, during which time she worked closely with the Canadian Ophthalmological Society and the Ontario Rheumatology Association to increase awareness of uveitis at the provincial and federal government levels. She has also been the Canadian representative at the International Ocular Inflammation Society since 2013.
Dr. Derzko-Dzulynsky enjoys various sports and outdoor activities including cycling and skiing, as well as spending time with her family. She has raised funds for The Foundation Fighting Blindness through her participation in Cycle for Sight.
