Edmund Tsui, MD, MS is a uveitis specialist and an Associate Professor at the UCLA Stein Eye Institute in Los Angeles, California. He is a clinician-scientist and has a NIH-funded research program that focuses on the evaluation of imaging-based biomarkers of intraocular inflammation and the application of deep learning to imaging datasets. Dr. Tsui is also a site Principal Investigator for multiple NIH and industry-sponsored clinical trials evaluating novel therapeutics for ocular inflammation. He serves as Chair of the ARVO Professional Development and Education Committee, on the editorial board of Ophthalmology, and as a member of the Executive Committee of the American Uveitis Society. Dr. Tsui is also the Director of the Uveitis Fellowship at UCLA, where he trains and mentors the next generation of uveitis specialists.
