Dr. Mahshad Darvish

Dr. Darvish is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Ophthalmology at McGill University and has a cornea and anterior segment practice at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, Canada.

Dr. Darvish received his Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia, and a Doctor of Medicine and Masters in Business Administration from McGill University. He performed his ophthalmology residency at the McGill University Department of ophthalmology and his fellowship training in Cornea and External Disease under Dr. Edward Holland at the Cincinnati Eye Institute. 

Dr. Darvish is a former program director of the ophthalmology residency at McGill. He has won awards for both medical student and resident teaching. He is a cornea co-editor for the Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology. He has written several book chapters and presented and taught at various international ophthalmology conferences. His areas of interest include ocular surface reconstruction, anterior segment surgery and medical education.
