
Jessica Shantha MD
Jessica Shantha is an Associate Professor and clinician scientist at the F.I. Proctor Foundation and in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Shantha completed medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine and ophthalmology residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She completed a medical retina fellowship at the Retina Consultants of Hawaii and her uveitis fellowship training at UCSF/F.I. Proctor Foundation. Dr. Shantha’s research interests include improving the diagnosis and management of ocular inflammatory diseases with an emphasis on the investigation of ocular sequelae of infectious diseases, ocular fluid diagnostics, and to perform epidemiological studies in uveitis.
