Dr. Melody Wong is an Assistant Professor and Neuro-Ophthalmologist in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Saskatchewan. She completed medical school and Ophthalmology residency training at the University of Saskatchewan, and subsequently completed fellowship training in Neuro-Ophthalmology at the University of British Columbia. She is excited to be practicing Neuro-Ophthalmology and Comprehensive Ophthalmology in her home province at Avenue Ophthalmology in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She also spends time teaching medical students and residents in both ophthalmology and neurology, and is working on developing and expanding neuro-ophthalmology services in Saskatchewan including the Post-Stroke Visual Impairment clinic, low vision and genetics. Her current research interests include artificial intelligence and OCT analysis for early detection of patients with neurologic disease.
