At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Enhance Clinical Knowledge in Ophthalmic Conditions and Surgical Advances
Participants will be able to describe current best practices in the management of tearing, retinal detachment surgery, glaucoma pathophysiology, and corneal transplantation, incorporating the latest evidence and surgical advancements into clinical practice.
2. Strengthen Interprofessional Collaboration and Professional Development
Participants will gain insights into the evolving roles of ophthalmic nurses in medical education and interdisciplinary teams, recognizing opportunities to contribute to patient care, medical training, and provincial ophthalmic nursing initiatives.
