Bryon is a current vitreoretinal surgical fellow at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver Canada.  He completed Ophthalmology residency at the University of Toronto, Toronto Canada where he was co-chief resident.  He completed a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Melbourne, Australia and completed a PhD at McMaster University.  He has a strong interest in improving visual outcomes for patients undergoing retinal detachment surgery and improving access to care for patients in need of specialist care.
