- Describe what dichoptic therapy is, what it’s goals are, and how it is incorporated as a treatment for amblyopia. Relevant publications will be used to highlight these concepts.
- Discuss the historical relevance of past orthoptic pioneers as it relates to current orthoptic practice.
- Identify clues to differentiate between sagging eye, decompensated esophoria, and mild bilateral VI or unilateral with a secondary inhibitional palsy on the other side.
- Discuss the use of divergence exercises including patient selection, choice of exercise and pattern of use among Canadian Orthoptists.
