Dr. John Simoulidis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Science at York University, specializing in political economy, political theory, and ethics. He teaches in the Business & Society (BUSO) and Interdisciplinary Social Science (ISS) programs. He earned his PhD and MA in Political Science, as well as a BA (Hons.) in Philosophy & Political Science, all from York University.

Beyond academia, John Simoulidis serves as the Treasurer of the Green Campus Cooperative, an organization dedicated to promoting sustainability initiatives and providing ethically sourced products within the university community. He co-chairs the Fair Trade Campus Steering Committee at York University.
