Erika Borrelli is a PhD candidate in Sociology and Social Justice at the University of Windsor. As a migration and human rights scholar, her current research focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of social certification initiatives in the Canadian agriculture sector as a strategy to improve the precarious working and living conditions of temporary migrant farmworkers.
