Getting There and Away

We suggest arriving on March 14th or early on March 15th, so you can participate in the field visits we are organizing on Friday afternoon. We also suggest you book early to find the best rates.

Flights arrive at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport. Air Canada, Westjet and Porter airlines fly to Montréal on a regular basis. To get downtown from the airport, the 747 bus line runs 24 hours a day. The fare is $11 for unlimited travel throughout the STM bus and métro network and is valid for 24 consecutive hours. It can be purchased from the fare vending machines or at the STM information counter on the international arrivals level. It can also be paid in cash with exact change on board the bus but only coins are accepted (no bank bills).

For those of you coming from neighboring provinces, we encourage you to use greener means of transport such as the train or bus. VIA Rail trains arrive at Montréal Central Station, just a few blocks away from Concordia University. Buses arrive at the Montréal bus station located near the Berri-UQÀM metro station.

If you're driving, please make arrangements with your hotel for parking. And if you have space in your car, please do let us know, as we can help arrange carpools.

For your return travel, we suggest leaving on Sunday afternoon/evening so as not to miss any part of the Conference, which ends at noon.

Support fund

To make the Conference even more inclusive, a support fund has been set up to help cover your travel and accommodation expenses. If you would like to attend the Conference but cannot afford to do so, please contact Loïc at action@fairtrade.ca before February 1st 2024.
