John Hale, with over 25 years of experience in developing and managing CAD, GIS, and BIM applications, is a leading figure in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC), and Real Property sectors within the federal government. As the BIM lead for the Department of National Defence and Vice-President of buildingSMART Canada, John is instrumental in steering the Federal Government's move towards BIM through the Digital Built Government of Canada initiative. His active contributions to international and national BIM committees underscore his deep understanding of the integration challenges and potentials of BIM and GIS.
