
David Minicola is a Project Manager in the NRC Construction Research Centre, and a Theme Lead for the Digitalization of Construction Codes, Specifications and Product Information under the NRC Platform to Decarbonize the Construction Sector at Scale. Since joining NRC six years ago, he has been involved on a number of research, information technology and transformation initiatives, including several projects related to the National Model Construction Codes. He is also supporting the Federal-Provincial-Territorial effort to harmonize construction codes across Canada, including on-going support of the Technical Variations Working Group with the Canadian Board for Harmonized Construction Codes. Prior to joining NRC, David worked in both the private and public sectors across a range of industries, including clean technology, electric utilities, oil & gas and financial. He has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo and Masters of Business Administration from the University of British Columbia.
