Candice Sudlovenick is the SIKU Outreach Programs Manager for the Arctic Eider Society. Growing up and spending most of her life in Iqaluit, Nunavut. Candice has also lived in Cambridge Bay. Growing up spending time on the land and harvesting, Candice knows the importance of the roles Indigenous people have to protect and sustain the environment, wildlife and culture, and how powerful community-led and driven programs, projects and research is.
Candice worked for Arctic Eider Society from 2019-2020 while SIKU was still in beta testing, and seeing how far and the reach SIKU has now is empowering.
In her free time Candice sews and beads, enjoying her new home in Ottawa, but keeping a strong connection to Nunavut.
