Yaoyi is a GIS Analyst in the Location Intelligence and Data Visualization team at the City of Brampton. She joined the City in 2018 after working in the private sector developing web mapping solutions and tools. Yaoyi is still creating web applications, but now also specializes in open data and story mapping. She graduated from McMaster University with a HBA and went on to obtain a GIS Applications Specialist Graduate Certificate from Sir Sandford Fleming College. She is also a member of the ESRI GIS Ambassador program.
