Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada
I have developed a good knowledge in remote sensing application in ecology. Research experience from my Ph.D. study has focused on understanding and modeling of vegetation productivity (specifically in agriculture) based on satellite observations. Currently, I am particularly interested in the methodology development and application of Earth observation technology to agriculture land use monitoring, crop growth modelling, and land productivity mapping. Specifically, I am conducting studies to evaluate how cropland productivity responded to the climate change based on time series of remote sensing observations. I am well experienced in the biophysical and biochemical variables estimation from multi-source remote sensing, and the mapping of crop productivity (e.g. crop biomass and yield) by assimilating them into the crop growth model.

In conjunction with GeoIgnite 2019, PCI Geomatics is hosting a user-group meeting (UGM) on June 17, 2019 in Ottawa, Canada. The UGM is open to all who want to learn about the latest innovations in PCI software, such as Analysis Ready Data tools, large-volume data processing (with GXL), object-based image analysis, Interferometric SAR (InSAR), DEM extraction, and more. The UGM will focus on the automation possibilities using the Geomatica platform Python API. A review...
