John Dombzalski

Global Government Business
Mapbox

John is responsible for growing and maintaining Mapbox’s presence in government organizations across the globe, from agencies and organizations building public facing web and mobile apps to mission critical systems supporting global initiatives both domestically and with allied nations.

Prior to joining Mapbox, John spent time in enterprise software roles at Esri and SAS supporting US National Security strategies. He got his start in the mapping space while enrolled at Kutztown University where he holds degrees in Geography and Public Administration. Recognizing the role GIS and mapping played in broader IT and business strategies, John pursued a Master’s in Technology Management from Georgetown University, graduating in 2016.

When not supporting mapping initiatives for governments, John enjoys putting his geo skills to the test by traveling the world and experiencing different cultures and unique foods. He’s also an avid sports fan, and takes pleasure in partaking in the crazy fandom of his beloved Philadelphia sports teams. Fly Eagles Fly!
