Tom

GIS Analyst
Unemployed

I am a recent graduate of the University of Waterloo Geomatics program with 2 years of spatial analysis experience under his belt.

I've worked in the public and private sectors managing data ranging from animal habitat data to communities affected by air pollution and pipeline saftey statistics.

While I enjoy the information density maps are able to deliver, I finds that maps are most useful when packaged with a story to paint a complete picture.

In my off time, I can be found playing grand strategy map games, organising group outings and writing tutorials explaining how things work in the context of their systems

I can be reached via email at tom.zhang989@gmail.com.
