Saskatchewan Association of Geomatics Technologists

The Saskatchewan Association of Geomatics Technologists (SAGT) was established in 1977.  It aims to obtain industry and public recognition for  Geomatics Technicians and Technologists in Saskatchewan, to increase knowledge and skill of its members in a professional and fraternal environment, to cooperate with other organizations having similar objectives, and to affiliate with the Saskatchewan Land Surveyors Association (SLSA). Members or the Association have graduated from a geomatics and surveying or mapping related technology diploma program or are other persons in the geomatics industry who do not meet the said educational requirements. Members of the Association are certified by the Certification Board of SAGT which is appointed by members of the SLSA and the SAGT.
