
Christopher Kercheval, Founder and CEO of TopKerv Consulting combines 10 year of land survey experience - working with mortgage brokers, energy companies, private landowners - with a love of laser scanning & education. Christopher has worked for Zoller + Froelich's Pittsburgh, PA office and, in 2018, started his own private consulting practice whose clients have included General Motors, General Electric, and Sherwin-Wiliams. Also in 2018, Christopher was elected to the board of directors for the International Association of Forensic & Security Metrology where he continues to contribute today. Christopher planned the 2023 GeoWeek Scanner Shootout for the USIBD to compare terrestrial laser scanners on an even parity, the 2023 Slam Scanner Walk off in October 2023, the 2024 GeoWeek event to compare SLAM and terrestrial scanners in a like environment for comparison on both data and pricing for those that are interested in entering the Reality Capture market, and is a founding member of "The Committee;" a US-based reality capture advocacy and education group.
Christopher is currently a Central Support Specialist in the Reality Capture division of Leica Geosystems, helping customers to maximize their investment in the technology and resolve issue that arise in the process from data acquisition to product deliverable.
