Ala'a Al-Habashna

Ala’a Al-Habashna has received his Master of Engineering degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2010, and his Ph.D. degree from Carleton University in 2018, both in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Dr. Al-Habashna has worked as a Post doctoral Fellow at Carleton University and collaborated with many industrial partners. Furthermore, he has been working since September 2018 as a lecturer at the School of Information Technology at Carleton University, teaching courses including Image and Signal Processing, and Computer Vision. Dr. Al-Habashna has won multiple awards including excellence and best-paper awards.Currently he is working as a researcher at the Data Exploration and Integration Lab (DEIL), CSBP, Statistics Canada.
