Wade Larson is a founder, the Executive Vice President Business Development, and the original visionary behind Vancouver-based UrtheCast. He served as the company’s President and COO from 2013-2015 and its CEO from 2015-2018. UrtheCast serves the rapidly evolving geospatial and geoanalytics markets with a wide range of information-rich products and services and is developing advanced new offerings in multispectral optical and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging. The company recently announced the acquisition of GeoSys, a market leader in agriculture analytic services. Wade has 24 years of experience in the space and satellite sectors, and has extensive, global experience in space-related business management, strategy development, government relations, international relations, and policy formulation. Prior to starting UrtheCast, Mr. Larson worked for 7 years at the Canadian Space Agency and for 10 years at MDA (now Maxar). He has an MA and an MBA.
