Charles Papasodoro has been working at NRCan for 10 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in geomatics applied to the environment and a master’s degree in remote sensing from the University of Sherbrooke. Since 2018, he is the team leader for NRCan’s National Elevation Data Strategy, a position in which he provides leadership on lidar data acquisition contracts, liaison with federal/provincial/territorial partners on lidar data, as well as strategic planning. Through his expertise in elevation data of all kinds, he also serves as scientific advisor to the team and provides recommendations for the standardization of lidar data in the country.
