David did his masters in geomatics engineering at the University of Calgary, specializing in digital imaging systems. His thesis topic, automatic calibration methodologies for mobile mapping systems, was based on research done collaboratively with an industry partner, providing an opportunity to gain industry knowledge on the topic.
