Mr. Wainer is a Utility professional with over 25 years of work experience in project management, locating-designating, and Subsurface Utility Engineering.  He is presently the Executive  Director of UESI Canada  as well as Director of Market Expansion & Education at GeoScan Subsurface Surveys.

Mr. Wainer also has experience in the management of large projects with a variety of government and private sector clients throughout North America and has taken the lessons learned over the past 25-years+and applied them to leverage the new technological changes and pivoting to a digital world. 

Notable mention he is the current Executive Director for UESI Canada & co founder of the 2 Canadian UESI chapter Chair for the Membership & Marketing committee of UESI, member of the  Ontario Public Works Association row committee, secretary of the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) Utility Management Subcommittee (UMS) a member of the CSCE and Member of the year for Ontario Regional Common Ground Alliance (ORCGA)in 2020
