Emmanuel Stefanakis, PhD, PEng, is a professor of geospatial data science and head of the Geomatics Engineering Department at the University of Calgary, Canada. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta, the Canadian Institute
of Geomatics, and the Canadian Cartographic Association. His active service includes the Canadian Board of Examiners for Professional Surveyors, and the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing.
