Fotios Konstantinidis is a Scientific Project Manager at the Institute of Communication and Computer System (ICCS) and manages Industry 4.0-related, Industrial Symbiosis EC-funded projects, working on the development of real-scale industrial application, the design of IIoT architectures and the development of machine vision systems. He is a Ph.D. candidate in the department of Production & Management Engineering, holds a M.Eng in Electrical & Computer Engineering and a M.Sc. in Mechatronics & Systems Automation. His research activities are focused on the development of Cyber-Physical Production Systems (CPPSs) that can be integrated into existed industrial systems under the auspicious of Industry 4.0. Prior to this, Fotios had worked as an Industry 4.0 Technology Analyst, analyzing the plants’ maturity level and proposing I4.0 strategies for Fortune 500 companies, while he had worked at the Next-Generation Access networks in telecom industry. Throughout his career, he has also been involved in organising workshops, delivered presentations at conferences/workshops and published peer-reviewed journal papers.
